Having been an avid internet user I constantly came across opportunities on how to make money online.I took advantage of a couple and was disappointed most of the time. I got  fed up of being, tricked, and lied to about ways to make money online . So when I landed on the Wealthy Affiliate website, I read through the material and though impressed I held back for I had been through this before.

The first thing that struck me was that this had to be another scam. How could the owners be giving away personal coaching, an eight week s
tep by step action plan, free web-hosting, website building tools, and keyword research tools just to mention a few, all for just $29.95 a month?

For years I always wanted to be my own boss, free from  commutes, corporate bureaucracies, and long hours with low pay. I had also spent a couple of  years online searching for a ways to  profit from running web a business -- only to be let down time and time again.

The whole concept of affiliate marketing all sounded to good.I could actually profit from selling other peoples products without holding any inventory.Better still this website claimed to provide me with  step by step training on how do this.

Comforting myself with the thought that I could cancel and get my money back if I didn't like the Wealthy Affiliate university site, I decided to give it a shot ,the whole time thinking to myself how many of this do I have to do.

What sold me to the site? The sales pitch on the website spoke about how difficult it was to make money online and how it took hard work and determination.(Which legit opportunity doesn't need this) They also do not promise  riches overnight. This unhyped realism, made me believe that maybe,  they had the answers I was seeking for in my quest to break free from the corporate cycle.

Presently I'm still here at Wealthy Affiliate,  Kyle & Carson, did not disappoint me. The first month was slightly overwhelming due to the vast information offered on the website. Besides the 8 week training, there were additional beginner, intermediate, and advanced level tutorials, ebooks, case studies, and videos web hosting, rapid writer etc. When I did have questions, either Kyle,Carson or some of the more experienced members of wealthy affiliate answered them.

The forum was where members interacted with one another and made any questions or concerns clarified, I spent a lot of time reading the "stickies." These are forum posts that the members have voted that they be permanently kept to educate new members. These "stickies" are often real cases of those who were guided to make profitable marketing campaigns. People starting from scratch are shown how to create campaigns that make lots of money, the amount depending on persistence and dedication of the student.

Besides the "stickies," there are also sub-forums where people report their sales and steps they took to get there. In addition, there are forums on different aspects of marketing, from how to write articles to how to set up a Google AdWords campaigns and so much more.

I know I should mention something negative about Wealthy Affiliate, but, to be honest, I can't think of anything bad to say. The only way to really find out if this is the right thing for you, too, is to check it out.

Remember no e-book will teach you how to make money online as effectively as one-on-one coaching, unless of course your mentor in a family member or spouse who is already making money online
